Jeremy Pollard was born in Christchurch, New Zealand which is where he started his career as a cameraman. At the age of 26 he moved to New York City where he quickly became an internationally acclaimed documentary cinematographer. His stills photography, for which he has always maintained a passion, has been highly praised, especially for its cinematic quality which has thrown fresh light on usually unseen aspects of life. He left New York City after 20 years and now lives in London with his wife and two children.
